Standards Australia is also Australia's member of the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC), providing a direct link to the international arena and creating further standards development efficiencies.
In the compressed air sector, as in many other industrial sectors, regulations apply. They may include requirements that are defined by legislation as well as optional regulations or recommendations, as for national and international standards.
ISO 8573-1:2010 specifies purity classes of compressed air with respect to particles, water and oil independent of the location in the compressed air system at which the air is specified or measured.
How pure is your air? One of the keys to ensuring you achieve and maintain acceptable air quality and have the correct equipment for use in AUSTRALIA is to know the industry standard and their allowable levels of contaminants. The lower the particular class rating, the purer the air will be.
ISO 8573-1:2010 Class 0 specifies air quality standards in Australia for critical manufacturing processes within the food and beverage, pharmaceutical, textile, electronic, medical and all industry. It is the most stringent class, covering oil contamination, vapour and liquid forms.
Key Specifications/ Special Features: The 100% oil-free screw air compressor is our guarantee of quality. We use the German GHH-RAND air end, which is considered the best dry oil-free air end in the world. Both American Ingersoll Rand and German Kaeser company are using them. DENAIR is using tried and tested quality parts to deliver the highest standard of air in Australia.
